Free Website + GBP Build for 3 Midcoast Businesses
I'm building out a portfolio of Midcoast Maine small businesses and giving away three full website + Google Business Profile builds in exchange for a testimonial and permission to use the work as a public case study. No money. No contract. No catch.
What you get
A complete starter package — the same work I'd charge a paying client for, delivered free in roughly two weeks per business.
What I ask in return
This is a trade, not a gift. To keep it clean for both of us, here's what you commit to up front (in writing):
- A named, written testimonial within seven days of the site going live.
- Permission to use the project as a public case study — screenshots, before/after, the story.
- One introduction to another local business owner you trust (your plumber, your accountant, your landlord — anyone).
- First right of refusal on paid services after sixty days. You don't have to buy. I just get the first conversation.
Why I'm doing this: I have one client and a 27-year track record in direct marketing. What I don't have yet is a public portfolio that's specifically about Midcoast Maine local businesses. These three builds become that portfolio. You get a free website and a Google profile that actually works. I get three case studies. Fair trade.
Who qualifies
All five of these need to be true:
- You have a real customer base already (this isn't for pre-launch businesses).
- Your current online presence is genuinely weak — the before-and-after should be dramatic.
- You're the decision-maker (no committees, no "I have to check with my partner first" delays).
- You're located in Brunswick, Topsham, Bath, or Freeport (this is where my local-SEO work compounds).
- You'd consider me as a long-term marketing partner if the free build goes well.
The portfolio so far
Slots fill on a first-fit basis. As builds go live, this section becomes the case-study gallery.
How to apply
Two ways, pick whichever is easier:
